Early Childhood Coalition
The Early Childhood Coalition is a fluid group of people with representation from areas in administration, child care programs, education, health, job and work related services, faith-based organizations, non-profits, staff members working with after school care for children, local and state programs for young children and their families, neighborhood advocacy groups and family support agencies. All come to the Coalition to work together to fulfill the mission of the Early Childhood Coalition.
Recent work of the ECC includes a mission to bring an awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences to our community and to work together to create a community plan that will address ways to help us address and prevent ACEs.
The ECC meets from 3:00 – 4:50 every 3rd Wed. of month (except August & December) at Wichita County Public Health District located at 1700 3rd Street.
